Originally from New York, she swapped the New York City hustle for the artistic charm of the North Shore of Chicago, IL a decade ago. With two kids, aged 16 and 18, Kim brings a dynamic blend of creativity and motherhood to her entrepreneurial journey.
After teaching for over 20 years while running her own jewelry business, she decided to pivot to the world of blogging and online learning. Kim created Studio Art Beat as a vibrant and inclusive space to share her passion for art with people of all ages. Seeking a creative sanctuary that transcends traditional boundaries, Kim wanted to make art techniques more accessible and less mysterious for everyone.
